Hi all

I am trying to customise my team pages and add a little colour. I want to upload pictures to my team pages and have even designed some team logos. However, no matter what I do, my pics are always over the downloading limit - which seems ridiculously small. Even basic Microsoft clip art pics are far too big!

Does anyone have any suggestions how to solve this? Is there a decent programme which allows you to reduce the amount of pixels being used without completely destroying the quality of the pics?

Photoshop or GIMP... I never have a problem with getting pictures to 9-10kb.

I have tried photoshop but cant get them lower than 20KB - even when shrinking them. Is there a particular function in Photoshop that I need tio use to compress them?

Use the "Save for Web..." under File and on the following dialog just decrease the quality until the file size is small enough.

Thanks for that - that seemed to work, the file size is alot smaller so I have uploaded it. although I cant actually use it!.

With the other pics, the arrow changes to a hand when I run the cursor over them but with this pic it stays as an arrow so I cant click it. Any ideas?
