***There were some problems with the last thread, could you please repost your results in this thread if they aren't in the next message***

Week #3 begins Monday March 17 and ends Sunday March 23.
New Tournament Website
New coaches are always welcome. Join the A.N.A.R.C.H.I.S.T.

Now on with week #3.

Week 3 Challenge : In the spirit of getting to know your future opponent, the Terrifying Anarchists, a little better. This week is being hosted by Gouge Orwell inspired by none other than George Orwell.
1. Although probably technically not an anarchist, how is he connected to anarchism?
2. From 1984, list two modern day equivalents of Goldstein and Eastasia and describe why you picked them.
3. Anarchism is often called Utopian Communism, Orwell presents a distopia. Briefly describe your favourite SF novel that deals with utopias/distopias. Bonus points if it has an anarchistic future/society in it.
4. Provide your favourite Orwell link and a brief explanation why you chose it.

***Reminder of an upcoming challenge***
I will be running a painting challenge for all of the coaches. To enter paint up a member of your A.N.A.R.C.H.I.S.T. team, take a digital picture and write a bio of that player. Entry deadline will be April 30, 2003. I'll probably spring for a prize for the winner as well as giving the winner 10 pts.

Reporting Matches : Please send me PM to let me know when you've completed an ANARCHIST match or post a note in this thread. Be sure to note who was the challenger and a link to the match report. I'll regularly update the scores in this thread in the next post (just like week#1). At the end of the week I'll tabulate the game results, artistic impression scores and the week's challenge results which I'll post at the end of the thread.

As Always,

Twisted Evil CJ's Hometown Rat Boys challenged Beast's mighty Roar to a showdown in the gutters. After a scoreless 1st half, Rats kicked off to Roar in the second half. A few barshen turns later Roars team captian pushed the ball to the endzone for the only score in a brutal game. See the carnage here http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=22279

Faahkg led the Blood Freaks on a holy mission of vengeance and blood-letting in the name of Khorne, challenging the dreaded Coup de Grace to a riot-shortened match that pleased Khorne greatly. The Blood Freaks spilled the blood of numerous woman-things, and even had the forsight to attack their Apothocary before the match, resulting in the horrific death of Andromache, and the mangling of several others.

Khorne was most pleased.

Interesting Times (Mezir) challenged Coup de Grace (Sceadeau)

A hard-fought match, with manifold cas on either side. It was eventually won when Interesting Times got a Blitz! at the best possible time.

Interesting Times 2 - 1 Coup de Grace

The Soft Fuzy Dwarves (Moxy) later challenged Interesting Times. In a battle that proved reft with vicious fouling Interesting Times won by 1 TD to 0.

Interesting Times 1 - 0 Soft Fuzy Dwarves

Nota Bene: Match reports not done yet. When Coach Mezir gets off his lazy ass and does submit a report he will edit this message to comply.

The Reptillions(Philman) challanged Crashers(SpIkEdDeAmOn)
Crashers having a good cardio theropy session this week had only one of there 7 niggling injuries on players miss the match, this apeared to be crucial for there game, with the blitzers and catchers dominating the game. Phil's reptiles just didnt seem to be having a good game, with bad luck ravishing his team, ending in a 3-1 result in Crashers favour.
