Well Fumbbl fans the WO will come to a climatic conclusion tommorow. The WO Committe is holding a party to close out the Open. All of Skavenblight is buzzing as parties are being held all over the city. Closing ceremonies will be held tonight at the main stadium. Every one is ready and primed for the big show down game to determing the first major winner of the 2010 season.
After the game I expect the place to clear out fast. By Monday Skavenblight will be back to normal as everyone heads out to the outer islands of Ulthuan and the qualifier rounds of the UI to get their hands on the lanterns that will guide them through the mist to the Main Draw venue.
So enjoy the finals match and then get ready to get geared back up starting on Wed. as the qualifier rounds of the Invitational are made and we are back on the pitch with some more Fumbbl major action.
some goats came to my investigator and "asked" him to write bad reports on these sneaky DE... as he confessed it was a decision on the edge but at least he decided to stay neutral... as we know all the pressure is on the DE... most people wants the underdog to be the winner... who ist IT?
LoA and the Revengers did not disapoint and take the game to the final turn of OT to determine the winner. LoA claws and scratches it way to the top and emerges the victor.
It was a close fought match all the way as both sides had multiple shots to win this one in regulation. But every time both sides came up short. Even though the Revengers were playing short manned they put up a stout defense and allmost held the game to a 0-0 tie and the coin flip.
A classic match that both teams deserved the win but only one can come away with the title.
