For this season, I'll leave 'flings and Goblins as a pair (especially since Goblins might not have their weapons working right away). We can look at the Ogres & Underworld after the season too to see if there is a need to combine or split up these fringe races.
Here is the list of changes that are being made to the league for the LRB6 transition:
New Categories:
A (Plug & Play): Orcs, Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf
B (Better with Age): Chaos, Nurgle, Pact
C (Bones & Moans): Necro, Undead, Khemri, Vamps
D (Agile): Dark, Skaven, Slann, High Elves, Wood, Pro
E (Humans & Stunties): Norse, Human, Lizzies, Zons, Ogre, Underworld, 'flings, Goblin
Category A will still be x2 points
Category B will now be x2 for baseline points only.
In Category E, let's keep the "only one stunty" limitation for 'flings and Goblins (for now).
For a Baseline based on TV:
1,000 TV or less - 10 points
for every additional 1-200 of TV - 1 point
so,
0 - 1,000 - 10
1,001-1200 - 11
1201-1400 -12
1401-1600-13
and so on...
This is the TV of the opponent or the ELF team, whichever is less.
All other scoring the same as last season for Wins, Ties, TDs for & against, CAS inflicted, 5 TDs, Shutouts and Concessions. |

I agree with zakatan, the troll and the storm vermins can inflict a lot of damage while the goblins (even if rookie) can provide assists almost everywhere outside of a cage or MEGA BUNKER easily. If someone plays underworld to hurt things, I think he can do. Wouldn't put hem into another category due to that, but also wouldn't want to put them into the "stunty" sub-category either.

Rijssiej still has to rework the Java program & I'm leaving on a business trip until Monday. Once everything is in finished, I'll make a formal announcement and we'll get rolling.
A start very near March 1st would allow me to easily step back into the 6 seasons per year thing we had going at the end of LRB4. |
