E.L.F. Season XXVII – Final Standings
This season of the ELF ran from the 10th of May, 2011 through the 30th of June 2011. All times BB time (CET).

Last season’s Champion, Vailwynd Valiant's, Ranked High Elves, repeated as Grand Champion this season as the only team to break 400 points. Congrats!
Finishing in 2nd place to take the Silver in the overall standings and also as the highest scoring Black Box team were Rano Raraku. So close!
 
Ending in 3rd place to take the Bronze in the overall standings and taking 2nd place among all Black Box teams was Til the Death. Great finish!
 
Category D ended up in a 3-way tie and the Pro Elves failed to grab even a share of a single Category at the end. All hail the winners!

In the TouchDown Challenge, Wild Dragons maintained their lead to the bitter end putting up 40 scores in their cycle. Nice defense of your amazing offense!
For the Red Badge of Courage Wild Dragons set the pace with 38 casualties. Were they sacrificing players to Nuffle in exchange for touchdowns?

And although I've really missed out on following the tournament scene so far this year, I'd be remiss to not point out how well E.L.F. teams did during this season.
Stand Free, Soaring Hawks and Lifrig-Pool's Kopite Kings all made it to the quarterfinals of the UI.
And El Drizzto and the Gang made the finals in the Wheel of Chaos: Favored of Nurgle qualifier.
(Somebody really needs to make a logo for the tournament!)

Phew, Rano Raraku held the top Blackbox spot with the slightest of margins! I was worried Kryten was on a roll to pass me by. A very tight season for the Box title with myself, Kryten and DukeTyrion within 9 points. Exciting!
The TD challenge amuses me:
Wild Dragons (DukeTyrion) - 40
Til the Death (Kryten) - 36
Rano Raraku (MadTias) - 19
There is a larger margin in TD than in points! But with the order reversed! Deeefense.
It also amuses me that both my category-winning games in Cat B were against BillBrasky's killer teams and that one of my highest scoring games of the season was against Kryten's Til the Death. Have at you!
Gratz to Falcone on your second championship, now I'll have to break out Samovar Sinensis in Ranked next season to have any chance of preventing you from sharing my record of three titles in a row. Box teams just can't compete for the championship.
