In the part where it says that all teams are eligible, and switches to bold text... it was supposed to indicate Blackbox teams there, but BBCode was used instead. Stunty Leeg teams cannot apply. Stunties who play in Blackbox can.

You may only apply with a BlackBox team. Due to a formatting issue - that may not have been clear on the Qualifier page - working on fixing that.

The draw is done that the top 8 more popular races are in 8 different qualifiers with the remaining races randomnly added into one of the qualifiers - that means that the final draw of 8 teams is going to be 8 different races.

Also means any race that you enter will be facing the rest of that race as well.

Edit: Group page fixed - hopefully that makes it clear.

I'll have a go.

REALLY: Just apply a team. thats all, the rest doesn't really matter. It's that simple.

Still here? damn.
Ok.

Everyone that wants to applies a B team.

At 22:00 Wed 16th we rank the races by number of teams of that race applied.

We then allocate each race 1-8 to a qualifier. and races 9-16 also but in reverse, then 17-24 the orginal way.

So we get:

Qualifier 1: Race1, Race16 and Race17
Qualifier 2: Race2, Race15 and Race18
qualifier 3: Race3, Race14 and Race19
Qualifier 4: Race4, Race13 and Race20
Qualifier 5: Race5, Race12 and Race21
Qualifier 6: Race6, Race11 and Race22
Qualifier 7: Race7, Race10 and Race23
Qualifier 8: Race8, Race9 and Race24

Each qualifier has a maximum of 16 places. First the top 5 teams (by TV) from the lead (1-8.) race are allowed in. then the top 3 teams from the secondary race (9-16) are allowed in. And then 2 teams from the last race (17-24) are allowed in. Any remaining places are filled by the other applicants from all three races from highest to lowest, by TV. until we have 16 teams or run out of applicants.

So those 8 qualifiers produce 8 different teams from different races to compete in the final.

Someone will enter a team of one of the most popular races, miss out on a place, see filler teams in other qualifiers and throw their toys out of the pram.

Thats the CoS(t).

Last year this was the number of application. There was a coin toss between DE, skaven and undead to decide which was 7th, 8th and 9th.
1) chaos - 21
2) nurgle - 17
3) orc - 17
4) necromantic - 15
5) dwarf - 14
6) chaos dwarf - 12
7) dark elf - 10
8) skaven - 10
9) undead - 10
10) high elf - 8
11) lizardman - 8
12) norse - 8
13) wood elf - 8
14) chaos pact - 7
15) amazon - 5
16) human - 4
17) vampire - 4
18) elf - 3
19) slann - 3
20) halfling - 2
21) khemri - 2
22) underworld - 2
23) goblin - 1
24) ogre - 1

The big thing to take away from this is that Chaos, Nurgle and CD generally have their own qualifier - because of this it tends to bring out more of the dwarf and orc teams because they can avoid a lot of clawpomb (if they are in the top 8 that is). A bit of a prediction game here - but the non-clawpomb teams that are popular tend to do very well. Chaos Pact was low last year, but I expect them to rise this year as well. Any other guesses as to the top 8 this year?
