thinking about other meta leagues there are -

ELF - elves leaving the forest
DMU - Dwarf Mangling Union
EMU - Elf Mangling Union
Human League


hmmm im stumped, there are some good ones here, but none have jumped out to me and made me shout 'that's it!'

edit: I quite like CHEF though from mister__joshua, just dont like the acrostics so far ... something Halfling something Federation.

Is there a need for 2 halfling groups though? Couldn't the 2 amalgamate somehow?

yeah I would think so, though the other one is focused solely on Treemen doing stuff.
This one is a meta league where there would be a winner based on a scoring system as on page1.

Though awards for Treemen related stuff could and will certainly be a part of it. BaM is good. though bangers and mash doesn't tell me it is a league for halflings enough. Man this is tough.

I'd prefer to see this done in some kind sprint format: taking N consecutive games (where I think 5 works fine). That way you don't need to play lots and lots of fling games in a month to have a decent chance.
