2013 TOP 25 RANKINGS. List updated as to 22nd Nov 2013. This includes Fumble Cup up to 6th Round. Ranking based on results in any OFFICIAL FUMBBLE TOURNAMENT during 2013 (box, Ranked or Stunty).
POINT ALLOCATION SYSTEM
1. I took same point sequence as the ATP uses for its MAJOR Tournaments. This is: 10-45-90-180-360-720-1200-2000
2. I match this sequence to number of wins that any coach had in any given official FUMBBL Tournament throughout 2013. As i only keep track of teams winning at least 2 games in a given tournament, this works out like this: 2w-10 points//3w-45 points//4w-90 points//5w-180 points//6w-360 points//7w-720 points//8w-1200 points//9w-2000 points
3. I allocate a fix 10 point bonus to any team that gets 2 wins or more in a Major tournament (Stunty Majors included)
4. I allocate a fix bonus to teams winning a title. It goes like that: 2 Rnd title=5 pts//3 Rnd title=9 pts//
4 Rnd title=18 pts//5 Rnd title=36 pts//6 Rnd title=36 pts//7 Rnd title=36 pts//8 Rnd title=36 pts// 9 Rnd title=30 pts.

Starting with the second edition, FUMBBL CUP Massive Edition will be counted for the coach rankings ONLY. Teams will NOT qualify for the teams Rankings. |

Note:
1...Fumbbl Cup Massive Edition will be considered a MINOR tournament. Therefore, MAJOR fix bonus will not apply.
2...As Massive Edition allows multiple teams per coach, only one team result per coach will qualify for the rankings. |

That's not an official tournament sonrises and it's also a L one that is not usually considered a 'competitive' division .... I honestly would drop it but then again it's your raking and you decide what you want to fit in them ... love your work (specially seems it strays away from CR or all the player base version of it, what makes your unique and interesting) keep it up. |

Hi/Buenas Paco,
Thx for your nice comments. I decided to include the massive edition for the following reasons:
1. Ko Tournament. Fits with the point allocation system.
2. It is popular. 88 teams joined this edition and no many forfaits.
3. [L]eague division was the only one missing in the rankings. Box, Ranked and stunty were already included.
Nevertheless as most of the tournaments in [L] division are NOT based on Ko tournaments formats it is quite likely that Massive Edition becomes the only tourney representing this division in the rankings. And it takes place once a year, so will have a small impact on the overall rankings really.

At the very least, any ranking system that is S.M.A.R.T.(a business acronym), is a ranking system worthy of consideration:
Specific-->check(coaches & teams)
Measurable-->check(shared point allocation)
Attainable-->check(points give a visual goal)
Relative-->check(2013 stats!)
Time Bound-->check(although not instantaneous, updates occur frequent enough)
Thanks for the time and effort on this dude. Maybe this is something shadow46x2 can use as part of his effort to increase tournament activity. Make it an 'official ranking for fumbbl tournaments? |

About becoming an "official ranking for fumbbl tournaments", i have to say i wouldn't mind at all and i'd handover all the raw data happily.
I keep track of the whole thing using a simple excel file which is mistake prone and time consuming. If shadow46x2 wants to use this rankings he might have access or the knowledge to set up scrips for this to be run automatically...i don't know, from my side i leave the door open to any sugestions/proposals.
