I want to create a League, but this league will require customised Human Teams.

I would need to be able put certain skills on certain players and increase a Stat or 2..

Is this possible without requireing 'Training Games'?

Can we create such teams without needing to spend hours farming SPP....

Yes, if you can find a kind admin to help. This is not supported officially though, so if anything goes wrong, you are sol.

What is your idea? Is it something along these lines?
1 quarterback - 7 2 4 7 pass sure hands accurate
2 fullback - 6 4 3 7 sure hands
3 running back - 8 3 3 7 sure hands
4 tight end - 6 4 3 7 catch
5 wide receiver - 8 3 4 7 catch nerves of steel
6 slot receiver - 7 3 4 7 dodge catch
7 center - 3 5 1 9 stand firm
8 offensive tackle - 3 4 1 9 block grab
9 defensive tackle - 5 3 2 9 thick skull block tackle
10 guard - 4 4 2 9 guard
11 defensive end - 5 4 1 9 wrestle strip ball
12 linebacker - 6 3 3 8 block migthy blow
13 strong safety - 7 3 3 8 juggernaut frenzy
14 free safety - 6 3 4 8 block pass block
15 cornerback - 8 3 4 8 shadowing disturbing presence
16 kicker - 6 2 4 8 kick dirty player hail mary pass

Similar but not exactly, nor as complicated.

My idea is, each partisipating coach would have a Human Linemen Team, turned into this this team: https://fumbbl.com/help:FournT

With a few extra's eg.

Lineman: Dump Off, Nerves of Steel, Wrestle, Jump-Up
Full Back: Dump Off, Nerves of Steel, Catch, Kick-off Return, Block, Sure Hands
Half Backs: Dump Off, Nerves of Steel, Kick, Hail Mary Pass, Block, Sure Hands
Forwards: Dump Off, Nerves of Steel, Diving Tackle, Fend, Block, Jump-Up
Wings: Dump Off, Nerves of Steel, Catch Diving Catch, Wrestle, Jump-Up

I havent figured it out exactly ^ that is just an example of what I am thinking about.

Each coach would be required to fluff the team up a bit, a logo, sensible names, ect.

It would obviously be a Rugby themed league but not representative of real world rugby ofcourse, just fantasy football rugby, so teams names log could be anything really

sorry but thats WAY too many skills for a starter team. I would recommend removing the skills in blue, over describing rosters should be avoided imo, 'it leaves teams no room to grow. They shouldn't start as finished players' That quote is basically straight from JJ Wink

I actually tried a build earlier in Chaos Edition's Team Editor, and I must say, was a very fun interesting game.

Pretty doubtful right now I'm afraid. That's a lot of work for a member of staff. So they'd have to be extremely dedicated to your cause.

A member of staff cannot create such a team off of the bat like that. They have to play one game first. Also that amount of changes per team is over an hours; work at a rough estimate.

Grant skills, choose skills, go in and change skills per player.

Sure, I mean if we could get just the basic Four Nation Roster (using human linemen) that would be great, the extra's need not apply.. they were just my example of where the team could go.

Edit: Well if it is alot of work I will drop the idea, however I still thin kit would be alot of fun, so yep will just have to wait till things in League change i guess Smile

As has been said, that is a lot of skills to maintain/change. On top of that, with that many skills, your players will take ages to skill up further, or not skill up at all.

So I have been thinking, and there is a way around this (besides waiting for the League changes) and it is:

No other Roster has the feal of a Rugby roster than the Four Nations Teams. While we cannot (yet) play in League with that team/roster, we can strive to create our team/s as closely to them as possible. If doing this doesnt sound like fun to you then you probably should look away, if however you are up to the challenge and can stomach some(most) of your Double rolls being pre-decided then this might be fun for you! Very Happy

Team Creation

Team must be of Human Race.

Has 2 Throwers (Halfback & Fullback), 2 Catchers(Wings), 4 Blitzers(Forwards), 3 or more Linemen.

Ogre NOT permitted.

Skills

You may take any Stat increases you feel you wish to, however on a double roll you must take either: Dump Off or Nerves Of Steel, should a player be lucky enough to get a second Double then take the remaining Dump Off or Nerves Of Steel skill.

Blitzers(Forwards) must take (on 1st &/or 2nd Normal Rolls) Diving Tackle, Fend.

Certain skills are either limited in allowance here or are prohibited altogether.

I am thinking Mighty Blow here, Pile On is fine as (i think) it fits the theme, but MB spam would just make the whole thing a waste of time.

Also thinking of Banning Dirty Player & Sneaky Git (As Fouling althought a valid tactic, also should be as much of a risk for the fouler as possible)

And I believe Wrestle should have a dominant place here, perhaps as a must on Linemen & Catchers?

Not for me, but if you did want to do it, it'd be easier to do with all-marauder teams, as they have P access on normals.
