Your modesty honors you, DrPoods! Only issue: Agility Monsters don't take Mighty Blow. Wink There's always need for a good guard though. So no issue with that. Not everyone has to be crazy. Wink

Dauntless on a blocker would be a nice novelty.

Agility Monsters' longbeards usually start with Guard and get Fend and Pro afterwards. An early double or the current state of the team can obviously make a difference (one that gets into a very highly developed team with lot of Guards - I had 10 once - would get Fend first).

I would love to be a thrower runner Rabe. Nothing says dwelfball quite like solid passing play. Something along the lines of accurate, pass, block, kick off return.

I totally agree on the passing aspect. Smile

I prefer Wrestle over Block though, because it's usually not his/her job to run with the ball anyway and it adds a lot of defensive potential. I added Tackle and had both: A good thrower and a decent sacker (both in dwarf terms, of course). Kick-Off Return would be a nice addition, but I prefer to load up on passing skills and then add some utility stuff (like Wrackle). I might even give it a try, if my plan wasn't to give KOR to a longbeard, preferably one with HMP. Wink

In fact, Ambo was the first Monster to ever learn KOR only recently - sadly he couldn't use it more than two or three times (but I find it very useful to protect the ball from Blitz! and in case of failed pick-ups (without the need to move a player there first and thereby get him further away from where the action should be).

Don't mean that you idea is bad or anything. I probably just won't go there. Wink

Awfully kind.

I forgot about the MB thing. Would it be amenable to suggest the ultimate team sacrifice role? Guard -> Dauntless -> Pro -> Fend as a possibility? Up to you. I shall watch with interest. Supports mates and takes on the big'uns to free up the champagne charlies...

Blocker Safety of Annoyance

Normal skills: Grab, Shadowing (which, statistically speaking is a rubbish choice on a Blocker... I know... but funny as hell if you keep rolling low enough! Laughing ), Guard
Double skills: Diving Tackle, Dodge
Stat increases: +MA... lots of +MA Wink

Fouling Death Roller for me!!

Sneaky Git rocks on the Roller...Needs no assists and he either gets his man and breaks AV or the ref looks the other way. He limelights as a road block but his main purpose is roll over prone players and crunch them.

Oh yes, they are! He even beat Brumbas in terms of annoyance from time to time. Very Happy

I really like the Shadowing idea! When it works, it is such a pain for the opposition...

Only one choice for me....leaping DP deathroller (not even sure it's possible), any other leaping DP would be an acceptable second place Very Happy
