Anyone using photobucket to host images for team bios?
I just tried, as my old imagehosting site got all "giff me all your money" on me, and I cant seem to get it to work. I put in the "https" and the image never shows, or I go with http only, and get a blue link button.
Any ideas?

https is a service that needs to be provided. You just can not put https in front of it and make it work. Why not just upload the images to fumbbl?

Ahh.. I see. What a noob I am. Thanks for sorting that out.
I just wanted to test the image, to see if it fit the theme, size was alrigt ect. before I started cutting up in to bitesize pieces, to make buttons.
I'll try to figure something out.

facebook uses https for image hosting so if you create a facebook account for your images that should work.

I usually make my own forum on a free forum site, then just host my own images. Got back ups of every image I have ever used on fumbbl on one of these. Plus I also have an SD card with everything on, just in case.

Added bonus is if you make a forum that uses BB code you can test everything there and see exactly how it will look here.

Not a bad idea, Mr. Renton. I usually just use the team page Very Happy

You can create a public folder in Dropbox and right-click on a file to get a public url for the image. Great thing is that the picture will also show on the fumbbl forum where pictures from most image hosting sites will only show as a link. And you don't have to wait for an admin to approve of the picture.
