I try to make a final list of my nominations if this is ending soon, i've changed them a bit: having to write a brief comment for them made me notice which teams I really knew and enjoyed, and which ones I just heard about or seen a pair of times.
Crossdressers (Amazons, R): Their performance in majors is outstanding for the amazon race, they're one of the team with most qualifiers won or something like that, and forlorn. No doubt they should be there.
Tiny Steel Hammers (Dwarf, R): boy I hated these guys! Perfect dwarven team, and lately gaining an ag4 skink and an elf: I buildt a CD team just to apply to R majors with something that would have stood a chance against them, even if I always lost way before seeing them from afar.. anyway, the team won too much to be out of this.
Pro Popes (Elf, B): unforloners for their race. And an Elf team with 212 games in B with a crazy winning record. Outstanding.
Left My Heart In San Francisco (Halfling, R): old, mean, dirty flings, home of the infamous Mr T. An istitution.
Blood Sea Buccaneers (Human, R): well, Painstate and humans! A joy to see.
Angry Newscasters (Khemri, R): if you never played against the Newscasters you will never understand fouling. Pellegatti's seek for blood and death is unparelleled, it goes beyond the usual seek for satisfaction in opponent damage we see from bash-lover coaches, it's art...
sexy ogrex 2 (Ogre, B): Ogres. Winning a Major and still competitive for new ones if they stop shortening grandfathered ogres limits... Played against them once and it was a real show. Best of their race, period.
Fleetfoot's Revenge I (Orc, R): big, very big, huge, colossal team!
Agility Monsters (Dwarf, R): Undoubtedly the greatest elfballers ever seen... in the dwarven realms! |

I like how the Newscasters are so famous they are on the list twice. And that the new additions push me from one of those teams beaten to five.
But just for ease of finding them, for anyone who has been hiding under a rock and doesn't know these famous teams already:
Rata Blanka is a different team, that should be Rata Blanca.
Left My Heart doesn't have an I at the start of their name
Ultimate Mr Men is a retired X team, Ultimate Mr. Men is the one you want. |
