Welcome back to the SIXTH season of the SSL! Five complete seasons, finally a team gets a second win, congratulations m0gw41! Our perm counts are a little down on some teams, some very happy coaches have had some fortunate deaths on the line.
Due dates.
Round 1: 11th October.
Round 2: 21st October.
Round 3: 1st November.
Round 4: 11th November.
Round 5: 21st November.
Finals weekly thereafter, or as you can.
Semi-Final: 28th November.
Final Game: 5th December.
Casualty Cup: 12th December.
Changes for this season!
*** The due dates are always a 1st/11th/21st.
The rest is the same deal: complete rules can be found on the group page, under the League Rules tab, most of it is nicely automated in the client for you.
But NO STAR PLAYERS in game (unless fling/goblin/ogre/unders) and post game, ALL STATS MUST BE TAKEN EVEN IF THEY ARE DOUBLES and NO PLAYER RETIREMENTS ALLOWED! The only way out ... is death.
There is a chat room at #survivalists, (we've moved in with the NSL!) league admins can normally be found there for any problems or questions needing attention.
Congratulations m0gw41 on the season 5 win and retrieving the casualty cup!

Phew - I obviously came too late to be sucked in again. And, as SWL is going into off-season mode soon & I'm not in the CBBA, I'll be fading out (for a while) within 2 weeks time. |

And, fair call, I went out. Somebody came in.
No complaining on my part, but it did occur to me that I have two rounds of Season LXV left to play, and then with no active stream of participation open to me, I can either become one of those sad and boring old blokes hanging around the edge of the dance floor watching on, or drift away and do something else somewhere else. |

I'll drop you a PM if we need a coach, ooze, you played out your season and gave us plenty of notice, much appreciated. I often drop teams into the weekly minor tournaments (blackbox brawls and scheduled smacks) when league play gets slower.

With all teams in and games under way, the due dates are up.
The NSL are in their holiday season, so to avoid getting miles ahead we've switched to 12-day rounds for season 5, from today. It's a little extra easy on the time schedule, but the hatchet man awaits any who go over long, add bigbullies to your PMs if you're struggling to fit the game in. Plenty of time to find a mutually agreeable date, but get those PMs out and play your games!
Due dates.
Round 1: 10th July.
Round 2: 22nd July.
Round 3: 3rd August.
Round 4: 15th August.
Round 5: 27th August.
Finals weekly thereafter.
Semi-Final: 3rd September.
Final Game: 10th September.
Casualty Cup: 17th September.

After the final whistle the westerly wind picked up. This was their chance, they'd heard about a lush land over the sea to the East. A land with no poisonous predators, where the milk flows freely from flightless birds, and the eggs of possums are most delicious. The Tanuki would never need to suffer the violence of Blood Bowl in such a land.
They unfurled their mighty scrotums in preparation for the flight. The Helping Hands were disassembled. As was their custom, even the weakest (M3S2Ag3Av5) were welcome to join them on the arduous journey.
