Not much to say here besides here's the results!
Winner: MANZOO 203spp
Manzoo held the lead for the fantasy league for the majority of the weeks the league was running. His most notable players were Floyd Pepper (37 spp), Darth Maul and Sebastien Chabal (25 spp each).
Runner up: KARNOV 186spp
Karnov managed to fight his way up from 13th place to 2nd place on his fantasy league journey, snatching the spot in week 4 of the tourney. His highest contributors were Salmonix (30 spp), and JR Coolman (28 spp).
Spoon: D_ARQUEBUS 99spp
Poor D_Arquebus. At least it wasn't me  . Throughout the league, Hutchy was fighting to not be last staying in the bottom 3 spots for the majority of the league. However, he slipped and fell in the 6th week. His lowest contributor was Xanarchy, earning him 0 spp in 7 games.
Most Broken: LUOHGHCRA (4 dead, 1 retired)
Ouch. The most notable player to die on Luo's team was Bolgwan Softrock. The strength one legend gave him 6spp before dying on his 3rd game. Next season can you pick Lorax? Thanks! Despite a number of deaths and retirements, Luo managed to finish 14th place. His highest contributor was Forrest Gump (24 spp).
Least Broken: RAMCHOP (0 dead and retired)

After the great success last season the SWL Fantasy League is back!!! Do you fancy the thought of Dan "Asereje" Rollins racking up CAS while playing alongside the Touchdown fanatic Salmonix? Do you want extra emotion and excitement while spectating games? Well the SWL Fantasy League is the Fantasy League for you!!! A place where you can pit 11 players together and depending on how well they do in the season, you may receive the Fantasy cup (currently held by Manzoo).
Rules:
-You have a 1500 budget to buy players. A player's total cost is their positional price plus their skill cost.
-Rosters may only have 11 players. You can not go above or below this number
-Only one player from each SWL team. For example, you can not have two players from the Prancing Unicorns
-Maximum of one player type. This means you can not get two beastmen. However, you can include the combos of Skaven Blitzer + Underworld Blitzer, or Renegades + their non-renegade counterparts.
-Players must not be hired if they have earned spp in Season 67 of SWL. This means any player that has earned spp in season 67 is ineligible for your fantasy team.
-You may not choose a player from your own SWL team. This is a rule change from last year to prevent SPP farming, but also let non-SWL players have fun too.
The team that has totalled the most SPP by the end of the season will be crowned the champ of the Fantasy League. League updates will be on the SWL Fantasy League Thread.
Please PM me your fantasy teams ASAP. Deadline is WEDNESDAY THE 25TH . However, the longer you wait, the larger chance that your favourite players will have played their round 1 games so get those PM's rolling! Please ensure that your team complies with the rules before sending it to me.[/b] |
