Eh, I like a challenge Wink . Interesting that Moulder is one of the top 10 most played SL races - had no idea about that. I guess people like petting their rogres ...

But ... my precious Slaanesh sitting at 45%! That can't be right! :O

(btw, that's an awesome page - I didn't know it existed, thanks)

Also worth mentioning that the average TV for all that data seems to be very low. The balance might change quite a bit at higher TV ...

i just dug around in the von carstein numbers, and while good, two teams that have skewed the curve have Great coaches and ST boosted vamps, as well as many games under their belts. i suspect, based on the numbers of the other teams, while still good, not unbeatable cool beans smothered in awesome sauce. Water elementals, however, Do seem to be that good, at least at the low/very low TV.

Holy shit. MY Carstein team is one of the top two?!

What a min. You said those teams had GREAT coaches. Clearly, you are mistaken sir.

I agree, in general, the sample size for those stats seems fairly small (between 100-300 games), so they could easily be skewed by the caliber of coaches that are playing them.

@LogicsFate: yeah, the rogres are expensive, but I think in theory they should be better value than they are on a normal Skaven team, because they don't have Loner and they have M access on normal rolls, so they can all take Claw as a first skill. Tbh, I'm not expecting them to be particularly competitive, but they look like good fun Smile

The data is far from being robust but it's better than nothing.

Carstein is indeed better than normal vamps until they need a 5th vamp, which takes teams the size of Kingvan's or Prov's vamps.

Top teams should go to coaches with lesser CR.

Water elementals used to have a 7448 leaping guy with vll, btw. Fun times.

I probably need every advantage I can get...

Also, are we waiting on 1 more to start? Looks like we have 1 East slot left?

I'm planning to start the first season late Friday/early Sat, in case anyone else wants to join. Right now we're at 15 teams, so if we get one more that would be 8 per division, which would be a good balance.

Also, I think we still need Mr_Fantastic to submit his Dryad team.

Once Mr Fantastic submits, would you be opposed to starting? With one team set to play the last joining team, or Bye? I'm all antsy now that I made my roster.

But what I'm saying is 15 gives us an odd 1st round. Someone would either need to play twice or sit out UNLESS we get a 16th.
