Ok so its a skill I havent ran across much. Maybe im tired or just an idiot. Or maybe just both...lol

It says a push back result I can place them in any adjacent spot from me. Is that only from the push result or is that from pow, stumble, and push?

all 3, only from a block though, not blitz.

SS and grab cancel each other out

But it is not adjacent from you but from the opponent. So all squares that would be eligible if the blocked player had sidestep are eligble when you use grab on him (and he does NOT have sidestep).

google "CRP Blood Bowl" and you'll find a .pdf file that has the basic ruleset covered - including the skills.

Grab: A player with this skill uses his great strength and prowess to grab his opponent and throw him around. To represent this, only while making a block action, if his block results in a push back he may choose any empty square adjacent to his opponent to push back his opponent. When making a block or blitz action, grab and sides step will cancel each other out and the standard pushback rules apply. Grab will not work if there are no empty adjacent squares. A player with the Grab skill can never learn or gain the Frenzy skill. Likewise a Frenzy player can never gain grab.

Grab will still cancel SS on a blitz, but the other parts won't work on a blitz.

Good question. My reading of it is that Grab only applies to empty squares. So activating it to surf someone may have the opposite effect than what you want - it'd allow more empty squares to be available.

@Rbthma I read the rule before, hence the question....

Thanks, @happygrue so indeed on a blitz it only cancel SS we cannot choose the spot.

Surfing a SS player is an option, i was hoping to grab into the crowd but yes may not work.

As surf almost always requires a blitz action,... read above.
