Why are we even talking about fouling in a streaming thread?
Ah right. Another front in the Culture Wars.
When I first joined would have agreed with you 100% that a T16 foul was a terrible thing. But that was a loooooong time ago.
I stuck around and got into the culture of the site, and damn, ya gotta do the foul.
If you really feel sorry for the coach, you don't have to foul their legend. Though some would say that you do.
Especially if it is a one-turner or stat freak.
You could foul a journeyman or a no skill lino. Some do that. Some would say they shouldn't be leaving any better player to be fouled.
But ya gotta do the foul.
Some would, where possible, use their leaping, DP, troll.
Some would get the foul in before going in for the winning TD.
Are those days dead?
And if you know your history...
If you ya don't do the foul, they'll never learn.
p.s.
It would be really cool to have a league option where leaping into a foul adds DP to it. Stacking of course if you already have it. |

Off topic a tad but on T16 fouling
I was the same as Koadah, fouling T16 seemed mean, however, that attitude has changed for many reasons not least that you may meet that team again especially in BBT or league. |

Anecdotally, I T16-fouled a Bull Centaur with Block, Guard, Mighty Blow, Tackle, +AV in Competitive (I could not 1TTD due to Kick-Off event, so, why not fouling?):
https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4468690
I found the same team the very next game:
https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4468698
and I didn't have to face that Bull Centaur again.
So, I can say that T16 fouling can be advantageous even in Competitive division, not just in a private League with a way smaller pool of opponents.
Let's not forget that, without Season Re-Draft and with GF-picking, some players can grow too much and last way longer than they are supposed to.
Considering the whole picture T16 fouling seems mandatory. |

Ha ha hah!
Money in the bank!
But looking at the damage he did you, how could anyone say that that was wrong?
He didn't need to bring the guy to the line in the first place. Then all the die rolls to set up the assists.
That is Legend level fouling! |

Now that I think of it (I didn't check the replay, I'm relying on my memory, so I could be wrong, in case don't jump to my throat, please), that same Bull Centaur killed my Legend Blitzer in another game:
https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4465847
If I remember well, it was that same Bull Centaur who killed Duluk, my former Legend Blitzer.
Honestly I wasn't thinking about that when I T16-fouled, but now that I consider it, that T16 foul had an extra revenge reason !
It's the beauty of perpetual divisions, with resurrection format there would not be such kind of fun!
As an aside, we both took it on the chin (my own Legend player's death and his Bull Centaur's crippling injury). |

Paulhicks had style.
Nobody ever complained about being fouled by Paulhicks.
That's the gist of it. It's not what you do, it's how you build your image. |
