Having snotlings in tier 4 is
But yeah, I'm sure these GW ones will widely be ignored and NAF will make their own comp I'm sure...
anyway, this thread is for Tier Predictions for Fumbbl Blackbox, not Match Play/Res
I'd love to hear how everyone thinks the tiers will look... tiers 1 to 4, with optional tier 0 also called S tier i.e. >55% |

Are we operating under the assumption that *all* Star Players will be available to the teams?
If so, I'm not sure yet there will be a tier 0. Amazons look ripe for it, but Wrestle is about to become a lot more popular because it is cheaper and it negates Steady Footing. Now Amazons too will have to start going Wrodge spam over Blodge spam, but with only 6 Movement that caps them a bit.
Necromantic are a fantastic foundation but they were designed around primary access to the 4 skills that are now elite. A Blodge Wolf is awesome, but now costs 180TV. You still want your 4 Guard, but now that team is getting pricey. I think that creates a ceiling on them.
Shambling Undead are kind of in the same boat as Necro, but they don't need those elite skills quite as much because their Wights are so good with Tackle and ST 5 no negatrait big guys packing Mighty Blow is the gift that has been giving for about 3 decades. Blodge Ghouls, A couple of Guards, maybe Mighty Blow on a Wight. I just don't think their ceiling goes as high as Necros.
So for right now, I'm tentatively saying I don't think there will be a league/box tier 0. |

that's a bold prediction.. that means Zons and norse would need to drop 5 or 6% |

In my opinion, these 2 rosters (zons and norses) would need more expensive lineplayers. Let's say 55k instead of 50k.
Zons were already the best team in BB 2020 and I fear BB 2025 strengthens that. Norses were excellent at low TV but I would say that was less true at middle / high TV. That said, I suspect Elite skills at +10k will help them. They already have Block. And less Mighty Blow on the pitch is good news for them. |

All Hail the Amazon Jaguar learned Breaktackle with +ST dodging into a cage on a 3+.
110k +20k +60k = grand total 190k teamvalue, real value that only get better later. |

At the moment, with the AG1+ exploit bug, elf, vampire and skaven teams have a considerable advantage. |

A cage can be screened, though. If you add some dodges to the Break Tackle sequence it could get used before actually dodging into the cage. |

Amazons (S)
Shambling Undead (S)
Orc (S)

Chaos Chosen
Black Orc
Snotling

Tier – 4
30% – 34%
Goblin
Gnome
Halfling |
NB: the rosters with (S) next to them I expect to be in the unofficial tier Zero or Tier S which is teams that perform above 55%
After playing the game a bit I am adjusting my initial thoughts (above) from before playing a game of 2025 edition, to the following... and I have added High Elf in, plus more precise % predictions of overall Win Percentages in Box based on what I'm seeing out there...
Tier – 1
50% – 55%
Orc (S) 59%
Shambling Undead (S) 57%
Underworld (S) 57%
OWA (S) 55%
Amazons 54%
Nurgle 54%
Norse 54%
High Elf 53%
Lizardmen 53%
Necromantic 51%
Wood Elf 52%
Dark Elf 50%
Tier – 2
45% - 49%
Bretonnian 49%
Skaven 49%
Vampire 49%
Khemri 49%
Human 48% (I think they'd do worse but they are very min maxy in design)
Chaos Chosen 47%
Snotling 46%
Chaos Dwarf 46%
Imperial Nob 45%
Elf Union 45% (like Humans I think these are actually much worse, but i think their win ratio will be dragged up by a small number of good coaches)
Tier – 3
35% - 44%
Black Orc 44%
Chaos Renegades 44%
Dwarf 43%
Ogre 39%
Gnome 38%
Khorne 35%
Tier – 4
30% – 34%
Goblin 31%
Halfling 30%
Edit: these predictions on Box win percentages are including mirror matches. Obviously if you remove mirror matches the teams that win the most and lose the most will have slightly better or worse percentages respectively... |

Ag1+ RAW has been vetoed by Fumbbl, and the NAF. Everyone is ignoring that game breaking rule, while waiting for the FAQ |

Thanks Garion. At the time the post was made, the rules were brand new and no one had made a decision yet.
| Quote: | PLAYER CHARACTERISTICS
AGILITY 1+
A modified agility roll of 1 will still count as a success if the player has Agility 1+. Since roll
modifiers will never take a result below 1, this means that an agility 1+ player will always
succeed the Agility Test on a natural 2+ regardless of the modifiers applied.

The NAF and Fumbbl made the right call IMHO.
