Till last night (23:10 server time) my FUMBBL client was fine.
Today I watched a game, the client started, but only a white client window is displayed.
On top I can read only: "FantasyFootball spectate DaCoach vs XtremeXwing - Turn 00m50s - Game 00h43m30s - ping 70ms"
The pitch and the rest of the window are not visible, the client's window is all white. The game sounds are on, I can hear them, even if the client's window is all white.
After some minutes eventually the pitch and players appeared as normal. I could write in spectator chat and everything was normal.

and my client worked fine, and lately I played lots of games never experiencing this "white client's screen" issue.
I'll try to reinstall it, maybe a fresh install will fix that.
edit. I just reinstalled the client but the issue remained (I even rebooted the PC). This time the pitch and players appeared sooner, though.
Could that issue be related to lag? I'm seeing Ping 229ms in another game I'm watching, with weird swings, from 50 to 150, back to 50 etc.
Maybe a connection problem with the server?
I noticed that, after several minutes, the pitch and the players appear, so in theory java and the client work, but something is causing a serious visualization delay of the pitch and the players.
Maybe some server update happened between last night and this morning?
A weird thing was that I clicked to watch a game and it started immediately to be visualized, then I closed it, tried to watch it again and this time, instead of being displayed immediately, the white window appeared. |
