Thanks for posting the rumours! My Ball represents the legendary Dragon Princes' arrogance, it makes sense.
Claw comes from the White Lions, makes sense too.
I like both of them. Fluffy and playable. |

High Elves were the team I started playing Blood Bowl with and I'm hoping for a return to playability. This looks interesting though the Lion Warriors look like a 2nd set of blitzers more than catchers. Which is just fine with me. |

While the skills may fit the fluff quite well I do not like the distribution from an effectiveness perspective. A receiver with Wrestle over Block is sub-optimal and Fürther more Dragon Princes as Blitzers would be more unique with Wrestle/Dodge while Claws would better synergize with Block than with Wrestle.
Or are we going to see two traditional Catchers as well? |

A Dragon Prince would never fall down in the mud with Wrestle like a Bretonnian Peasant. They are lofty and arrogant.
I think Catchers got Claw because the 3rd edition miniatures wore white furs with claws (probably White Lions' furs).
It's true that Wrestle has less synergy with Claw than Block, but on the other hand helps to counter Blodgers since game 1. |

Line up the High Elf linemen and Blitzers with the 2025 Dark Elf ones and then you're DONE.
Classic roster, absolutely doesn't need some hare-brained redesign. |

I wonder if they'll add a new positonal?
GW have tended to do that to some teams like Lizardmen and Chaos Dwarfs. Though the classic High Elves have the 3 we'd most associate with them already, so maybe not. |

That is why I said fluff-wise the rumors fit perfect. From a Differentiation perspective I would love to see:
2 Dragon Prince Blitzers
2 Lion Warrior Catchers
AND
2 Standard (no-skill) Catchers (as in the Teams of Legend roster)
What does not fit into the Roster=Box philosophy, but would be really nice: You only ever can have ONE Thrower (who is the most snobby 'princess' on and off the pitch). |

For me 2 Dragon Princes and 2 Catchers are enough. I'd like to have a really good Thrower, instead, with PA 1+.
Any Elf can be a receiver, but the important thing is having a very reliable Thrower. |

I like the lion warriors as long as they give us the common sense Black Arc Corsairs with sea dragon cloaks that give Iron Hard Skin. It would be the perfect high/dark elf dichotomy with the corsairs negating the lion’s claw. 6/2/4/10+ Iron Hard Skin would be a great addition to dark elves in general. |

dark elves are already out, they aren't changing any time soon |
