Hi all,
I was looking at the changes for the new Snotling roster. Now that they have 4 ST5+MB (no loner) big guys to use, They lean in heavy with the Ogre team imho...
i was wondering what you all think is better and why?
both teams start around the same TV and have an overlap in Starplayers.
Pro's for ogres:
AV10+
Thick Skull
MA5 AG4+ (Breaktackle looks nice here)
No need for a babysit to activate (Really Stupid)
Brawling Brutes will give them spp
Option to play 6 Ogres.
Pro's for Snotlings:
Stilty can be build as a good carrier
Roster Bombers are fun
Swarming
Start with DP and Juggs on the Pumpwagons
Start with apo in roster (how i would build them)
Ogres start at 705k(3 ogres,punter,2rr) and Snotlings at 700k(4big guys, stilty, 2bombers, 2rr,apo) so a lot of inducements. When compairing Starplayers: Fungus, chainsaw, Grak &Crum, Ripper, Scrappa are available for both teams.
Snots gain: Glart, Kreek(but goblin ball&chain is better)
Ogres gain: Rashnak,Varag or Barick,Grim, White dwarf, Bugman, Skrorg!, Skrull, Thorsson, M.Zug

Don't forget that the Pump Wagons are no Secret Weapons anymore:
- they stay on the pitch the whole game
- the tresaury spent to keep them all-game-long operational can be now used for... anything else! |

But ogres also stay on the pitch entire game so no difference there if compairing them. |

Better ball carriers too.
Id say ogres actual big strength is they get more stars to pick from. (Unless that changed in 2025)
Riotous rookies + swarming makes snots the best stunty roster by itself. Even in 2020 ruleset they are decent |
