Steady Footing should be rerollable outside the sf player's activation so that it'd be even more obnoxious. I theorized a build for Bret Grail Knights with Pro which increases both Dauntless success and Steady Footing chance (from 1/6 to 1/4) but sadly it didn't work outside of Grail Knights' activation. |

yeah but instead of just whining, I’m going to take action: until GW does something to fix this (or till i would not have totally digested this insult skill), I don’t think I’ll play any competitive BB2025 matches but just league games.
Besides, in this version of BB2025, stat freaks are even easier to build, so soon we’ll be seeing monsters like Blodge Steady Footing Frenzy +MA +AG running around—which is yet another reason not to play competitive but just for fun. |

arguably the best player for steadyfooting is the necro wraith
it already has block, doesn't have primary A-access for Dodge, and it'd synergise with foul appearance (for protection when blocked) and sidestep (to maximise the annoyance of the pushbacks)
But when i go look at the BBT necro teams who've played 5+ games, none of them have picked it, it's all guard MB tackle as usual
I have seen a picked steadyfooting player, can't remember what, but I think that was just someone wanting to test it out
I don't think there's some flood of players picking it |

Ok, you have fun with that then. I quit the game once because I didn't like a new rule (seasons, only came back because of friends getting into the game), and you know what, no one really cared. I didn't demand GW or fumbbl do something to fix the issue I had with the game, and they didn't care to whether I made an ultimatum or not. And they won't really care that you stop playing either.
In the end, this skill is not that impactful, probably won't be taken that much, and I don't think it will noticeably decrease play in the game in any real way. Your action will have little to no effect on anything, other than you specifically not playing the game. And if it's not fun for you anymore, you should stop playing, it's a game and supposed to be fun. Just don't think the GW or the rest of the blood bowl world is going to notice or clap for your principled stand against this skill. |
