I Quilwood, a bright young hafling did what all smart halfling do (not that I've ever seen another one); run far far away. Well I traveled for many days untill my feet could carry me no more (well, actually I got really scared because I had been walking for 3 days and didn't have any food - can you imagine, NO FOOD). I saw a herd of goats and right then and there I decided that I was going to be a goat herder. After consuming half the herd (did i mention the THREE day walk, I WAS famished) I began treking around my new found home with my herd closely behind. It has been 5 long years and I now own all of the Middle Mountains (mostly from my blackballing, and corparate underhandedness). I have dicided to hold a Blood Bowl Tournament, as to give back to the community (and possible rake in some of that merchandising money). First I will have to run this by the corporate goons (  ) at FUMBBL and see if I can have the permit to hold such a so called tournament.
THE RULES OF THE GREAT MIDDLE MOUNTAIN BOWL:
-Any and all open division races will be accepted
-Any and all Team Ratings will be accepted
-The Tournament will be over a 7 week period
-First 3 weeks will be playoffs. In wich teams will play the closest 3 teams geographicly (in the warhammer world, not real life)
-Then weeks four and five will be semi-final and weeks six and seven the Finals here at the Great Middle Mountain
-In the playoffs teams will recieve 15 pts for every win and 5 pts for every loss. There will be no ties (If by some chance a game is tied even after overtime or overtime is forgotten; then fan factor will decide, then casualties). a point will be added for every td scored and a point will be subtracted for every td scored agenst you. A total of 16 Semi-Final tickets will be handed out to the highest placed teams.
-In the Semi-Finals 16 teams will compete in 4 sub-divisions in a winner takes all knock out style. The winners of the 4 sub-divisions will be givin a Finals ticket.
-In the Finals 4 teams will be playing for the First Great Middle Mountain Trophey. I still do not know if this trophy will have any value other than pride and self-worth, but I may be able to nagotiate an extra Re-roll as a monitary value, or possible add more fans (making every game you play with that team a semi-final so to speak).
-During the entire time your team is in the Great Middle Mountain Bowl that team may not play any unscheduled games. |

Okay, I'm a rather impationt halfling, so if you are interested please post response. Now I only want responses from people who will show up. I hate it when I go threw and lick all those invintation letters and get my tounge all dry just to have some lazy coach not show. If you say you want in then you better come or I'll sick a goat on you. Huuuh, sorry to go on a rant.
Now if you would like a chance for this still unoffical bowl, then post:
-Your coaches name (so I can pm you and check your credentials )
-The team you will be bringing to the tournament (you can still play games up untill the tournament, but after it starts there will be no non-tournament games played with them).
-Where your team is from. There origan must be from somewhere on the warhammer world. If you do not have a map or don't care then I will place your team in the region that most commonly has you race.
I would still like some feedback from an admin. at some point.
Okay it seems people aren't as enthusiasic as I'd hoped. Maybe I have high hopes, but never mind that. In order to get this Tournament moving it will need a MINIMUM of 32 teams. That is the minimum, I would be disapointed with thats what we need. Maybe if there is prize to be won (cough, cough, Mr. Klipp ) then more people would be interested.

ANOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!
There is now a a PRIZE!!! Thats right I have dicided to give out a prize to the winner. The Winner of the Great Middle Mountain Bowl will recieve a brand new Nurgles Rotters Team from Games Workshop. The team includes 3 Rotters and 8 Beastmen and of course round bases to stand them on. It is still in the box unopened. I hope this will fetch more players in my Tournament, and maybe kick the action up a notch. I will be happy to pay for the shipping, but insurance will be up to you.
ADDITION:
For convenience, when you sign up could you tell me your playschedule. Games will now have timezone differences incorperated into the playoff schedule. I hope this will help to increase the number of coaches in my Bowl. I personaly am available all day, but most others aren't so lucky.

Oh, I'm all about this.
More than likely, I'd go with my Skaven team, Gutter Cheese.
Where they're from is largely irrelevant, so long as there aren't legions of Undead lying about

I'm almost always available MWF afternoons, EST (-05:00). That is, 3:00p until roughly 8:00p. That's the only times I'm really guaranteed... |
