Well, not that I need people to agree with me, but just because It seems like it hasn't been made clear.... The reason I advocate the cheap players is not because you get way more to start, but that you can buy replacements. If you are Norse and I foul your Ogre to death the first game, you will never replace him. The winnings are going to be LOW. Since this tourney is until you got nothing left to play with, making it easier to get new guys to play with seems to make good sense to me, and since Orcs have AV 9....

stupid question #2

so I applied for the tourney and it pops up in my groups (first and only) but I dont see my team. I assume my team has not be approved yet and when it is it will appear. Is this correct?

21 coaches now.

Please Spooky, lets get started before those of us that joined ages ago lose interest.

Oh and G-force i think you got your team name the wrong way around.. Shouldn't it be Die or Win trying? Laughing

We got over 20 teams so I think starting saturday would be good.
Any objections?

Ok i'll start it up.

Questions for anyone who's run a tourney before.
Do we actually need an offical tourny or we just find someone to play on irc and post the results here?

Whoever is on 1st start an IRC channel poolsofblood

Woohoo lets get the dying started!

Flyeaters came within a single KO roll to be the first time out of the pool of blood tournament. After being trampled under the vicious boot of the Gore Eaters all players were withering in pain in the BH or SI Box or lying cold in the RIP box, all save one brave Saurus who was only KO'd. Kick off turn seven and Crusher the Suarus mangaged to drag himself to the line of scrimmage for one more turn of beatings.

Maybe this tourney wont last as long as I thought.

This tourney will last forever! Too much money, even with low SPP

Win or Die Trying have done exactly that. First team out in Pools of Blood Season 1.

Congratulations to Slick and Smashem Kids who have an awful lot of blood on their hands.
