The Newly founded Arena Football league is seeking coaches to join we only need 8 coches to start the league but we would like more.

Out of curiousty...given that REAL Arena Football has 8 man squads why have you chosen 5? 8 would have been cool. |

yer, this looks like a great idea but it seems it was made up on the fly
id like to know what the story is on the teams
for starters, why are ogre and undead not allowed but khemri might be?
also, i think 8 players would make more sense as well
or 9 and 7 of them play both ways
2 of them have to sit out on either offense or defense (one each)
would make it more like the real AFL
and id like the san jose team if its still open, thats my home team |

Thrall..problem with 8 player team with "bench" players is the "rule of 11" me thinks. I originally thought they SHOULD have 11 players on team, play 8, and allow for the "specialists" that are in real Arena Football. (plus avoid the silly restart til handicaps suit" dilemma. But The rule of 11 makes it undoable as far as I can tell.
PS: the REAL AFL is Aussie Rules Football!!! Go the SWANS! |

I am a huge AFL fan (have season tickets to STAND WITH THE AVENGERS!!!) and I think this is great idea.
I tried making a team with Austin Wranglers. I can not make it (says name already exists) yet I can not find one with the name either.
Oh and the dude with the Avengers HAS To put Greg Hopkins on the team. That guy is an increadible althlete!

Right now I only see you and I as "extra coaches" who did not get in. If they do not allow us to make "exspanion teams" (San Diego Myrmidons RAWR!!) then we can always wait and see if someone bails out.
If allot of people appear interested maybe we can make another group with same rules and their AFL champion could play ours at seasons end.  |

i had i tryout with the rush thier first year. i also had the XFL come and laugh at me durring their first season. this league would have been fun to join if i would have not have been so wrapped up in my 1v1 games. |

you could always use the a2 team names or even teams that used to be in the afl but folded for the alternate coaches. like the peoria pirates  both a2 and folded for money reasons:( |
