This thread will be the thread for a Grudge League tournament. Only Grudge League teams may apply to this tournament.

Announcement: Loren Cup and 'Eadsplitta Cup will begin as soon as the World's Edge tournament is over. There will be a couple of days in-between, so that the slow guys have a chance of applying just before the start of these Ko tournaments.
I will make a "Final chance to apply!" -Group PM as soon as World's Edge tournament finishes. |

The little (and now one large!) critters from Fury Little Friends are more or less ready. The infamous Yrsa had to be retired as she was not allowed entrance to the Loren Forrests. She had also suffered a nasty injury in the last game and will be joining the coaching staff when the team returns. Another two of the little friends suffer from injuries so only 10 players are up for the first match. New player Mikkel says: "Heh! Me count for two!"  |

Estimated day for the beginning of tournament:
Sat 17th September, the time is still open.
As usual, the tournament will kick off with a live round 1 pairing event on #grudgeleague channel after which the round 1 begins immediately.
UPDATE: Redline/deadline dates for round 1 in both tournaments:
Redline - Between Monday 26th September and Tuesday 27th September, 12pm FUMBBL time
Deadline - Between Monday 3rd October and Tuesday 4th October, 12pm FUMBBL time |

I have corrected the redline/deadline dates. Indeed, there is supposed to be more than one week of time before the redline of the first round. |

Loren Cup is a GO!
Info for redline coords: If someone does not send a redline message on time, tell me and I will replace the team with another GL member team. We have already got a few teams lined up for joining as replacements. |

Round 2 Redlines/deadlines for Tribal Eadsplitta Cup:
Redline: between Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th, 12 pm FUMBBL time
Deadline: between Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th, 12 pm FUMBBL time
Deadline coords: Mr_QB or Jinxed (depending on your Mount)
Round 3 Redlines/deadlines for Loren Forest faerie Folk Cup:
Redline: between Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th, 12 pm FUMBBL time
Deadline: between Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th, 12 pm FUMBBL time
Deadline coords: dr_scitt or Wyrmtainter (depending on your Glade)
The two remaining Loren games will be resolved as soon as I am able to contact the corresponding redline/deadline coords. If both coaches have been active or I am unable to contact the coords within a couple of days, the two remaining games will be settled by a live d20 roll (one coach gets odds, the other evens) on channel #grudgeleague. There will be an official supervisor and the roll will be logged (logged = recorded onto a .txt file). |

Now that the final round 2 loren match has been resolved I have adjusted the red/deadlines for round 3 so that all divisions have the same red/deadlines. The new redline and deadlines are:
Redline: between Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th October, 12 am FUMBBL time (i.e. Tuesday morning)
Deadline: between Monday 31st and Tuesday 1st November, 12 am FUMBBL time (i.e. Tuesday morning)
If you are in Glade of Woe or Ash Groves please send any future PMs to me instead of Wyrmtainter. |

During the last turn of the overtime a hardly fought battle against Zlefin's Attempt (2-2 regular time, 3-3 on OT), we decided to settle the match using rock paper scissor on http://www.weebls-stuff.com
I was down 2-0 with 1 life left, when I switched into using a special, super-secret strategy: the "eyes closed method" and managed to pull it off, winning 3-2! This was possibly the most even match in the history of Grudge League and a battle to be remembered indeed.
