In roughly 24 hours from now, the 2 millionth match will be registered on FUMBBL. That's an utterly mind-boggling number of games and I wish to thank you all for the time you've spent here, playing games and building the great community we have today. Since the first million matches, we've gone through a fair amount of significant changes, both good and bad. It's very heart-warming to me personally to see so many of you sticking around here year after year.

Anyway, in order to celebrate this milestone, we are doing three things:

1. All coaches who played at least one (1) match between the first and the second million games will receive a healing potion. This was a very popular reward from our last million game celebration and I'm going to revive it for this one as well.

2. On saturday (March 22, 2014), from midnight to midnight server time, we're reviving our most popular birthday event: A random staff member will join your team when your team goes from post-match to ready to play status (assuming you have a spot for one). This will affect League teams, so those of you who run leagues you do not want tainted by this event, please make sure to communicate this to your league members.

3. The first match in each division for each main division (Ranked, Blackbox, Stunty and League) on or after match 2 million will have a player receive the fan favourite skill. The player to receive the skill will be voted on by everyone during the saturday event. I will be posting votes on the forums for each team involved and hope that as many of you as possible will participate in the vote. In order to prevent breaking player run leagues and/or tournaments, I will verify with the commissioner of the League of the affected teams if they wish to not have the skill added to the teams. In this case, the prize moves to the next eligible match.

While we advise people to not play official tournament matches during this event, it is not against the rules. If you choose to play official tournament matches during the event, please make sure that both involved coaches are aware of the event prior to readying your teams.
