My 13 year-old son (Avery) had to tackle my Akita. He was about to go after the owners. Both of mine were on leashes, but they don't take kindly to acts of violence.

I have never been more proud.

I never thought my Saint was a fighter. I just hoped he'd drag me to safety if I went down due to the elements or something whilst hiking in the Artic.

@finster5, I work for the State of Mississippi. So, no I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I do have non-perishable goods for 10 years. I have thousands of rounds of ammunition. I have sustainable energy. Some would consider this a survivalist lifestyle, or in pop-culture, they say "prepper" as in preparing for some big collapse.


I don't worry about a collapse, but if stuff goes south, I do have the means to survive. I also own a plethora of camping gear in the event that urban life becomes untenable.
