“First match for Chill'Sea in the OBBA Season 2 Cup, and who do I get to play? Hullon's Orcs, the very same I beat in the last match of season 2! Facing orcs is never easy as they can be pretty tough and unpredictable. Going into this match I only had 11 players (1 was MNG and another died pre-game so I had to put forward money for a lino, was saving for a blitzer :( ) and knew the numbers could be the decider. Match begins and a niggler doesn't make it so already down to 10.

Well the game was very fast paced and end to end! First foul with my DP and she got sent off (typical). First half saw me score a quick one and steal the ball for a 2-0 lead. Hullon stepped it up for Half 2 and managed to score a solid TD, but the drive after I did another quick reverse and got the 3-1 lead. Now here's where everything went wrong: I was (over)confident that I'd won it that I wasn't paying attention to the game sitting and yapping with a feller named tenpole on irc. All of a sudden Hullon's AG4 gobbo starts sneaking around and scoring, not once but twice (once was a very sneaky troll-assisted ball steal, stunning play). So all of a sudden it's 3-3 and only 1 turn left, ouch! No RR's and heading to overtime with 8 elfs vs 11 orcs. I got to receive and set about making a quick play. Well chance would have it that I fumbble the ball, next turn try and pick it up and fail. The ball was stolen and the orcs were pushing for a TD, and damn near got one! A pair of skulls showed up on an orc blitz which made them lose focus and another set of craniums meant we got the ball back, passed it off to the WE and went for a slow stall game. It payed off and we won 4-3 in the end. Not a very convincing win tbh as Hullon pressed the defence but luck would have it he wasn't succesful.
