“Pretty much got my ass tanned here. Got very much outpowed all game, and the Norse made the best of their luck with throws, GFIs and Dodges coming on in reasonable amounts. I didn't really do anything to merit a win, or a score, given that my tactic was to punch a hole through the norse, and their av7 stayed absolutely rock solid. 1 KO, 2 SI (1 apo'd) was all I could muster. At least the apo saved my guys from a death but the early exit of the thrower hurt when a next to player pass went awry to stop a consolation td. Wouldn't have mattered anyway.
Fouls from me in the 1st half were frustration more than anything - I don't have DPs on my team, never will, just had to try something to thin the Norse out. That didn't work either. Ah well, better luck next time! (Ignore the luck score, I was in the 80s for most of the game and could barely score a pow in the 2nd half, never mind break armour)
Best o luck with 'em - you play the Norse well, but I think on another day that AV7 might bite em on the ass. Not today though. Norse win, deservedly so!”

In all fairness, the dice definitely went my way at important points in the match. In the first half, I made a short pass (using a reroll) that put a player in open space. In the second period, Ye Olde Faithful rolled double skulls just when I had a shot at taking the ball. On the other hand, I attempted only one GFI in the game, to score. Fell over...
Much fun, was had, especially since we were both aghast after four casualties (two each) in four turns. Edge-of-the-seat stuff...
