I made it through the first half without suffering any injuries and stalled things out for a 1-0 lead at half time.

However, the pain-train arrived in the second as my players began to be taken out by two MB blitzers and Grim Ironjaw. I used my Wiz in turn 14 and knocked down three dorfs surrounding the ball-carrier, but couldn't get a shot at the beardy with the pigskin and instead had to mark him as best I could and hope for some skulls or skull/pows to block his path to the endzone. It proved to be not enough as the dorfs were able to knock aside my players and run in for the score.

Overtime was a duckshoot as more of the humans were carted off to the injury dugout. A brief flash of hope arose when coach Richardson's ball-carrier tried to blitz my Ogre and double-skulled, but I was never going to have enough men to capitalise.

All-in-all, a very tight, enjoyable match vs a solid coach. I would have hoped to have caused at least a couple of injuries to even up the numbers during the later stages of the game given the amount of blocks I threw, but it was not to be and, as ever with the beardy-ones, this proved to be decisive.
