Finally... the curse is lifted. The third time was a charm, or more appropriately the third time ceased being a charm for B’ORCa and real game of Blood Bowl was had by all!
The game began with the usual set of insults being fired across the touchline by the unsophisticated foul mouth known as coach Russo. The insults ceased only long enough to allow him a reasonable period of crying and moaning about how talented the Count was and how unfair it is that he was playing, and how the Count spoilt his joy of SMACK. Clearly this hadn’t spoilt his enjoyment of other drugs though as Russo then began blabbering in tongues about how SeraphimRed had changed his name my deed poll...
To the game!
Fortune favoured Real with an early Blitz that they managed to royally screw up. B’ORCa however didn’t know whether to bash, cage or ball so strategised to try all three in as little time as possible which led to their undoing.
Spilling the ball Real were all over it, and despite taking some early CAS they managed to level the odds with some OK, nay KO, booting to level the numbers and see the half out before scoring.
In the second half Real’s strategy was as effective as it was dull. They sat back and awaited the Orcs to commit themselves. The Orcs left their charge too late and the half ended with a stalemate and a victory for the glorious undead!

Only Russo can block two Undead players, break av, BH them with no regen then roll a 1d6 to get sent off and curse his luck! Bless him. :)
I decided to sit back in the second half due to only having four players with any real speed (3 of which were ghouls) amidst a lot of Tackle+MB waiting to take them down.
The Count failed to deliver on the couple of occasions he was called upon but his presence seemed to be enough to put Russo off his game.
Despite the tactics employed it was a fun game against Russo as always. No perms (a RIP’d Mummy regend from a block, thankfully), good cash and +1ff were the cherry atop the 3pt ice cream!
