“I really don't think I deserved to win this one. I stupidly and unnecessarily stalled at the end of the first half when I had stolen the ball and had a chance to make it 2-0, and deservedly got powed and turned over.

Second half was just about hanging in there and looking for an opening, and with the Orcs getting their blocking game up and running and smashing in three early cas things weren't looking good. It was only some horrible dice at crucial moments that meant coach Rijssiej's boys didn't easily rumble downfield and pick up the score to take it to OT.

Some desperate man-marking by the Raiders in the final moments of the game looked to have stopped the Orcs' drive, but excellent chain-pushing freed up two players for a final attempt at a TD pass. Nuffle came to the Raiders' rescue and the ball hit the deck, allowing the Elves to scoop up the ball and make the scoreline look much more comfortable than it actually was.
