We find ourselves against the same dwarves that defeated us before in a smack final...and today would be no different. First half we gave up the score, but then our skink one-turned it (his first of hopefully many!). Second half it is 1-1, but the weather (heat) put us at a disadvantage and then the wizard smacked down the ball. We still recovered...but then 3 straight armor breaks by the opposing dwarves - including a -2d double pow on the ballcarrier. It was now that Asher Unstoppable went on a rampage with 3 straight CAS inflicted...but it was too little too late. Although on Turn 16, opponent forgot jump up so we had the blitz on the ball...but failed to break armor, so he was left with the 2+ pickup 2+ gfi to score which worked for the win.
Overall, we count the game as positive though as our skink picked up +AG...so we are very excited about this new component of our team!
