#5 Shane Mcmahon the 6th – Smashed Hand (MNG)
#15 Weak weak – Dead (RIP)
The Wrestlers bad streak goes on and on with this one. It was one of those where bouts of stupidity wreaked havoc but we were so close to preventing the first td and just a marginally more intelligent effort would have got us 1 instead of suffering a second. Snotlings tripping up from gfis and dodges didn't help either.
First half the only problem the Rognosi had for most of the half was a couple of fumbles by their Hobgoblin retriever. But we didn't have the pace to take advantage. An extremely risk block by the mino on Big Daddy also only just came off. They got across the pitch well but after the early delay it seemed they might run out of time. Alas a rr was used on a snot dodge, Kendo was confused so couldn't blitz and another snot was badly hurt in another dodge attempt! We still had two snots in contact at the end of the half but a handoff to a Bull Centaur was just pulled off for that important td.
Haystacks had the ball second half and was stuck in the middle. When he tried to manouvere he went dumb and was grappled down by the mino (though Jim Breaks did hurt the beast). Still Little Lord Lucan got the ball and saw a chance to get away. He was wrestled down but leapt up again, picked up and then failed another damn dodge. The chance of glory was gone and a Centaur got away while Jim Breaks tripped in his wake. Tough one though a highlight was Haystacks once again showing his power by smashing a cwarf's collar bone as he piled on to him.
