Erdsa Longrit prove to be too brutal, too disturbing and too tactically disciplined for the Wood Elves of Walpurgis and brought our dreams of winning our first title to an end. Taking out Eldril and two more right after kick-off, they controlled the entire first half and never offered us an even half-decent chance to use our Wizard. With our Catcher joining their ranks as a Rotter things looked grim and we had to gamble our shot at one-turning on a Quick Snap. But the Quick Snap came and we were back in the game!

Eldril re-joined us for second half and we were rushing the ball down the sideline in promising position when two-headed Pestigor Lans made a dive through our lines and managed to Pow! our ball carrier. We still had a shot at scoring but it turns out that there are some 1s even on our dice. The rest was carefully controlled pitch management by crushingly superior Nurgle.
