“Village_Idiot was a fine opponent, but this was an annoying game.

Ogres played what I think was a conservative, tight game (necessary since 1 ogre was MNG) and thanks to some bad fouls from the Orcs, and a lucky pick-up by Bomber, managed to score on turn 8.

The second half was disastrous, as snotlings were failing dodges left and right, and we were unable to knock any players down for 2 turns. Orcs pulled some risky moves, and eventually succumbed to the law of averages. A nasty foul from Cookie and a brave dodge from a diving tackler put 2 blitzers out and the ball on the grass.

With no RRs remaining for the Orcs, things looked good for the Kanabulz,... but 1 horrendous turn later (triple Bone-Head + failed snotling dodge)... and 1 great turn for the Orcs (goblin dodges and blitzes a snotling and picks up ball in TZ) things hang on a wire. One more horrendous turn for the Kanabulz (near-perfect triple bounce) puts the ball next to the Orc thrower. More failed dodges (snotling, ogre) on our next turn mean we are unable to put even 1 marker on the thrower...

Orcs have their recovery... and our MVP goes to Bomber... 0-SPP game.
