“This was a bit of a defensive contest. Big King blitzed his way through to score early on after just a Gobbo taken out on either side. On the return we held the Squigs back. After failing to stab successfully the Forest Gobbos couldn't see a way through and held the ball safe, but went in at half time 1-0 down.
Second half the key action was Big King brilliantly leaping and dodging his way through to take down the Shaman ball carrier. But alas as is often the case the only way Big King goes down is with his own tripup, and here he fell while sprinting and snaking next to the ball. He was then brutally fouled out. The Forest Gobbos were now hitting extremely hard and almost cleared the pitch but Devil did do a great leap and blitz to injure the Shaman. But a Stikka did very well to pickup the ball next to Devil in the rain and got the equalizing TD.
The Squigs had seemed rather weak/passive today though Monkey, feeling irritable, bit a Forest Gobbo's head off to finish off the match.”
