The vamps were rampant in the first half, running all over the gals helped by an uber-fireball and going 2-0 up. The gals manage some elfball to get back to 2-1 down at halftime with the ball coming to them and some packed lunches already safely in the bin.
2nd half the gals fought with every breath to get the equaliser with vamps popping the ball 3 times but the thralls were popping like corn and we managed the equaliser with a couple of turns to spare.
2 turns left and nuffle steps in, blitz to the gals, a deep kick, vamps get hungry with only 1 thrall left, more vamp heroics to dive into the crowd with the ball to ravage a maiden but the gals boyfriend takes offence and chucks the ball back on the field before Betty who needs a pick up and gfi for the win. Cue heroics and the gals seal a famous victory.
Great game and well played by Tussock who fought with every last bloody breath to save the game.”
