We elected to receive, and put the ball in Zach's hands right away. Well, Zach giveth, and Zach taketh away...

First pass attempt from the backfield, he snakes. He then grabs the ball on t2, and strolls up top for a throw, and refuses to throw it (Safe Throw). It left him exposed, and I spent nearly the entire half trying to break into a frustrating High Elf cage. He had to score t7. I one-turned to tie it. He one-turned me right back (4+, 3+, 3+ to get in).

Looked grim until finally, the Cougars failed a dodge, springing the ball. I moved it to midfield, and got it into the hands of a Blodger who wound up running it in, as there was no viable Hawaii Rules option on t7 (okay on t6-8 to tie a ball game to run a ball in).

BYU tried to 1-turn again, only to knock the push guy down (they were out or RRs), and I am fortunate to tie.

Out-passed in this game, thanks to Zach D. refusing to heave it down the field for a sure TD on t2 of the match. That set me back 6 turns and 1-0. My fault for not offering him any protection at all, but he's the #1 passer on the move/out of the pocket in the NCBB. You'd think you can trust the guy.

Hawaii gets another Blodger on board. They also lose another rookie's red-shirt eligibility, as Hoku Arias joined the party with a pass of his own (and a crucial one at that to get the ball into the hands of Matthew-Sharsh).

We await the NCBB Executive's decsion. a 4-2-4 W/L/D record isn't awful, and should at least qualify for a lesser bowl... or so we hope. The fans wanna see more Zach Daniel (who had to be apothecaried from death on t3 or 4 of the first half...phew...)!!!!
