#7 Hoku Arias – Fractured Skull (-AV)
Season 35, Game 3 of AKC Conference Play (Game 6 overall)
2-2-1 going into play.

BLIZZARD

I elected to kick, since the Blizzard wasn't going to do Mr. Daniel any favors. Defense was doing somewhat well until a snake on a dodge on t6 opened up the backfield to Mr. Brasky, which he took full advantage of. 1-0 on t8, Mississippi State.

I got a Quick Snap and was set up to 1-turn (would try it, even though I was in the Blizzard.. .gotta try) I moved players, and totally botched the 1t attempt, as I am a tool. End of 1, Miss. State 1, Hawaii 0.

Blizzard stayed in effect. Hawaii screamed up the top sideline and managed to hold off on scoring until their turn 4.

We kicked off, and scored a Blitz. Now, to open the game, the kicker had it bound all three squares south, and the last bounce put it to the fans. I blitzed in, the ball bounded three squared south, and the last bounce put it to the fans..... Grrr.

Still, the defense looked like it had a chance. Another snaked dodge opened up a shot for Miss. State, but a downed GFI in the show, gave Hawaii a chance, they got 4 dice on the ball, but only scored a push. Well, lots of jockeying for position and a key chain push of a Guard later, the ball FINALLY popped out, but on the ground in a TZ. Zach Daniel got up, managed the two GFIs, picked it up, and threw a Short Pass to Stan Gaudion, who was in a TZ. He caught it, and dodged out to hand it to a waiting Matthew-Sharsh, who strolled in the end zone (Hawaii Rules would have forbid him from stalling, as he had nobody to pass to), so it was 2-1 on my t7.

Kick off came to the middle of the field, and the weather finally improved. Orcs screamed down the sidelines into Hawaii territory. Hawaii elected to flood the backfield around the ball to force Miss. State to have to dodge and pass, not what an Orc team is the most comfortable doing. With a Guard in the back, Miss St. tried a 1d block to free the ball carrier from a Blodging Catcher, but it turned up a skull/pow. Miss. State rerolled it to a skull, and the game ended 2-1 Hawaii.

Holu Arias takes an armor bust, which really hurts. That 2nd Guard is just so valuable. His scholarship is in question.

Zach now is in sole possession of 2nd place all-time in Completions, needing 5 more to tie fellow legendary Warrielf Cole Brownholtz for the career lead. Only 14 yards this match, due to the Blizzard.

Next up for Hawaii: Howlson.
