Part of a raft of players signed on a whim after the Spiders' Head Coach engaged in a drunken night of partying and magic mushrooms with the Head Coach of the Dreadpeak Delusionals Night Goblin team.
Coach awoke several mornings later to discover that he had somehow signed off ridiculous severance packages with a host of players including stars Snowpa Troll, Choppa Choppz, Yarrf Upchuck and the only ever-present after 54 matches - Grimm Bigbooger.
These now former Spiders players would all go on to enjoy fantastic retirements full of guest interview appearances and commentary roles.
Meanwhile, Head Coach had to quick-fire sign a bunch of replacements mid-season!
