Arcanius Niculescu was a feared Sylvanian necromancer, and also the Bleakwood Haunters biggest fan. When he saw the Hundham Horror implode during their match against Still Waters Run Deep he was initially horrified, but then he realised: this means that there is a slot open on the team! The only thing that kept him from eternal glory on the Blood Bowl field was his weak, mortal flesh...
So on a cold night, under the pale green light of Morrslieb, he lit the Dark Candles of Xuuhz and began the process of ascension. The ritual was long and arduous but at long last he rose from the grisly remains of his mortal body, his eyes ablaze with necromantic energy and his spectral form clad in wraithcloak. He signed the Bleakwoods contract with his own still cooling blood, now he was ready to make his mark in Blood Bowl history!
After Conrad Einhorn's unfortunate death on 2021-02-23 Arcanius is officially the team captain. His happiness for this promotion is diminished by the death of his apprentice Theodora Nachtlieb in the very same game.
