Jasper spent his early live as an undead in Khemri, where he attempted to join a Shambling Undead team, but was rejected because the players thought he was too dumb. So Jasper set off to find a city where the standard for wisdom was lower than it was in the capital. Along the way he met The Prophet and his entourage, who gave him food, a sleeping bag, and friends. Eventually Jasper found his way to Numas. With The Prophet's (minimal) financial backing, he founded the Numb Brains. Though he would never admit it to anyone, he is more than skeptical about The Prophet's grand plans to raise an army and take the crown for himself. Nonetheless the two correspond over snail mail, not as leader and follower, but as good friends and confidants.
