Vincent Palebone thought he was getting the chance of his life to fill in on the Mo'real Als squad. The excited Elf marched proudly out onto the field of the Als home opener, chin held high, waving to the crowd. He took his place on the line, heard that tell-tale sound of a foot meeting the Squig-leather™ of the ball, and then a brief, yet horrific, moment of pain.
When he awoke he was elated to just be alive, but something wasn't right. He felt wrong, the jersey seemed strange and ill-fitting, and he was, he suddenly noticed, sitting on the wrong side of the pitch. "Welcome to the Risers son!", the coach quipped as he slapped his back. The aptly named Palebone was recruited from the Mo'real Als
on the very first hit of the game by Jim Croode. Enjoy your stay!
Since the untimely re-deaths of Abe Alofmygutz and Tracey Gravely, Vince has become the go-to guy when the team needs to put the boot in, which is a hell of a lot.
