There was a boy who lived in Middenland called Miles. He went into the woods surrounding his village, there he found an abandoned goblin spider shrine, or so he thought. He started to scout out the area hopeful of finding something he could trade. As he neared the entrance of the shrine eight points of light began to glow from within. Long legs began to emerge from within each the length of Miles’ forearms. A massive spider appeared with glowing green rocks driven into its abdomen. The spider launched itself at Miles who tried to avoid the attack but got nicked by a venom dripping fang as the beast flew past him. All of its momentum took the spider past Miles where it impaled itself on a discarded spear. The warpstone spider died. Miles however found that he had developed spider like powers and was quickly recruited into the Middenland Spiders blood bowl team, where he hopes to get rich and make a name for himself. |
