Bögenhafen Bloodline

Previously known as the Bögenhafen Brawlers, the team has gone through a total rehaul and become the Bögenhafen Bloodline.

The Bögenhafen Brawlers had a short, brutal and unsuccessful history. Starting from their first game, the once hopeful Brawlers went through a series of defeats that crushed the teams morale along with the bones and skulls of several players. After a disastrous defeat against the Bilbali Pilots, fate stepped in and (melo)dramatically changed the entire team.

The Korzbucken brothers were all Brawlers linemen tired of being pushed around and beaten up in every game. Having suffered yet another manhandling in the hands of the Bilbali home team, the brothers went to a local tavern to medicate their injuries. Here they were approached by a gentleman from Moussillon, who presented them with a deal - a real bargain, because he wanted nothing in return!

The gentleman, monsieur Maldred, or whatever his name was, invited the brothers to dine at his boat in the harbour. He promised to show them how every one of them could become as powerful and agile as Griff Oberwald himself! Needless to say, the brothers accepted. After the dinner, the brothers were never the same. They found that the man from Moussillon kept his word. The brothers did become strong, agile, alert. On the other hand, following a late-evening practice, their teammates became drowsy, lucid and forgetful. Soon the team was renamed under the brothers' guidance, and the Bögenhafen Bloodline was born. Drunk with new power and anticipating a magnificent Blood Bowl future, the brothers rejoiced.

It didn't take long for the Korzbucken brothers to realise that with their new powers came a curse that made playing Blood Bowl even more difficult than it had been before: their unholy thirst that became a ravening hunger in the high-adrenalin games. Sometimes, even in critical moments of the game, they found themselves distracted by the pulsing artery of a teammate or the slender neck of a cheerleader, which put the entire drive into jeopardy...

Maybe they had been better off playing in a human team after all!
