Acorn Pecks start each practice having a scrimmage where a small human baby is used instead of the ball. Coach Rollingred deems this necessary, as it instills a sense of care and urgency amongst the players. Players perform exceptionally knowing that if they drop the "ball", a baby could die. This new questionable form of practice will show it's worth on the pitch with the Pecks first game later this season.

In other news, Acorn Pecks have recruited High Alwin as their sideline wizard when needed. Alwin is well known for throwing acorns that turn players to stone rather than the typical lightning bolt.
