After hearing about the start of a World Champion Circle, the Halflings of Brettonnia start to cast the best Halflings of their land and some trees, who have enough honor or not enough talent, to play with the woodelfes in the region. After a training camp only the best of the Halflings who survived the camp were chosen to represent their country.

The huge company Fennon decided to sponsor this team and declared to give a weekly ration of beer for every Fling who scores a touchdown or produce a casuality. Every Fling who is able to kill an opponent will get a place in the hall of fame of the Halflings and if they should be able to qualify for the World CHampionship, a house is guaranteed for every surviving Fling.

So the motivation is high to give their best for honor of the race and wealth of themselve.

After becoming 6th of 9 the flings moved on to the OLC to compete against even more teams.
