My first team in a competitive league, DKBBL - the first (?) Danish league on FUMBBL. The group is really intimidating, with most of the other coaches having played an impressive number of games (4 with 1500+!). I also suspect that some of the coaches with very few games have in fact extensive experience with the game, just on other platforms (TT, BB2). After some thinking the choice fell on Dark Elves, a team which I have played reasonably well in Ranked so far. The play style is inspired by the Sage - I'd recommend his YouTube channel to any rookie coach! Goal for the league: end up in the top 10 - out of 14 :) Performances: Lucky us, we got to start vs. an unskilled Chaos team - they would have been much more dangerous later! Plenty of mistakes from our side, so the 1-1 draw is a good result. Next up, Norse, with another 1-1, but they scored in a much more comfortable way than we did. Finally a 1-0 victory against Bretonnians! The team came in broken (4 loners) and ended the game with 5 men on the pitch. Someone should check those Bretonnian armours! We go on beating Orcs by 1-0, who showed up to the match with two players with niggling injuries. Unfortunately we also suffer the first casualty, and Gryphon is killed during the game. The winning streak continues with a 2-0 vs. Vampires. This was an insane and totally one-sided game vs. a really good coach with a really bad team and really bad dice.
